School Supply List - 6th Grade

In order for your child to be successful, they need the right equipment. These are the recommended supplies for sixth grade:

• 2 boxes facial tissue

• 1 container of Clorox wipes

• 2 doz. pencils (no mechanical or plastic coated)

• 2 glue sticks

• 3 pkg wide ruled notebook paper (200 pk)

• 1 vinyl zipper bag and 4 2" or 3" 3-ring binder

• colored pencils / small hand-held pencil sharpener

• 4 spiral bound composition notebooks and 2 journals

• 4 pkg. Dividers

• 1 flash drive

• 4 plastic pocket folders

• 1 bottle Germ-X hand sanitizer

• 1 pkg of dry erase markers

• 1 pkg of AAA batteries for calculator in math class

• combination lock or key lock with 2 keys

• Optional – Ziploc bags (quart & gallon)

Of these supplies, the items a student will be expected to bring to class daily are his/her textbook(s), notebook, journal, binder, and pencils. It is not necessary that the student carry all supplies with him/her at all times. Additionally, certain supplies will go to the homeroom teacher for the class to use all year (hand sanitizer, chlorox wipes, dry erase markers, ziploc bags).
